How to give

Amma Canada is a registered charitable organization in Canada operating since 2003. Our charity’s Registration Number is: 89672 6908RR0001.

If you are interested in volunteering for any of our upcoming activities listed in the News section of this website, please contact us using the information provided in the ‘Get in Touch’  page.

If you would like to make a financial contribution to Amma Canada, there are many options available as described below:

1.  Use PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) for your Donation – New !

*   Use our new partner PPGF to process your donation. Your full donation (100%)  reaches Amma Canada with no processing transaction fee.

*   You must have a valid PayPal Account to use this option.

*   While donating, kindly check the box that says – ‘Share my name, email and donation details with my recommended Charity’. 

*   PPGF will issue you an official Tax Receipt immediately. Please retain your tax receipt emails from PPGF safely for future use. Amma Canada cannot issue a Tax Receipt for these donations.

2. Use PayPal to make your Donation

*   This payment option allows you to make monthly contributions or one-time (and as many times as you wish).

*   Payment through your Debit or Credit card are allowed.

3. Donation Payment through Cheque

*   If you would like to make a contribution using a cheque, please send us a cheque payable to ‘AMMA CANADA’ and mail it to the following address:

4. Donate through Your Bank Interac e-Transfer

*   You can send donation through Interac e-Transfer through your bank. Use email [email protected] for e-Transfer. In addition, email us response to your security question along with your full details (Name, Address etc.,) to [email protected].

5. Donate through our Amma Canada FaceBook Page

*   Visit Amma Canada Facebook Page for more details at https://www.facebook.com/AmmaCanadaCentre/

*   Periodically there will be Fundraiser activities on Facebook. Donate and receive Tax Receipts (issued by PPGF).

Kindly note: Tax Receipts will be issued ONLY for donations $25 Cdn or greater (applicable under donation options 2, 3 and 4).   
If you wish Amma Canada to issue a Tax Receipt, please include the following information with your online/ cheque donation: correct spelling of your first and last name, current home address and an email address.  
Shares in listed public companies which are donated to Amma Canada on the death of an individual, are exempt from any form of Capital Gains Tax.
